Full Job Description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Senior Property Accountant in San Clemente, CA. The Senior Property Accountant will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for a diverse real estate portfolio. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in property and construction accounting who can provide strategic financial analysis while mentoring junior team members.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts for property and corporate operations.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making for real estate assets.
Manage cash management functions and oversee the processing of payroll.
Provide accounting support for property management, real estate development, and construction projects.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy in daily operations and professional development.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow for assigned property portfolios.
Collaborate with the Chief Accounting Officer to streamline accounting processes for development and construction initiatives.
Ensure all financial records and reports are maintained with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Real Estate or Property Accounting.
Proven background in property management, development, and construction accounting practices.
Extensive experience preparing and reviewing complex financial statements and corporate reports.
Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead junior accounting personnel.
Exceptional analytical skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
Experience with cash management and payroll processing systems.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear in a professional office environment.
Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other office productivity machinery for prolonged periods.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision for the analysis of financial data and spreadsheets.
Occasional standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
May be required to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
