Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Line Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and fine dining, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of cooks. As a line Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu planning, food management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Collaborate on menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain high-quality standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Provide support during service hours to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Experience in menu planning and food management is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and front-of-house staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
