Full Job Description

The Temporary Accounting Admin provides administrative support for West Music allowing us to meet our mission of “Play now. Play for life.” This individual will be detail oriented, have the ability to prioritize their workload, have accountability, and can work well in a small team environment.

This role will be needed from mid July through the end of September.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide accounting, administrative, and clerical support to the accounting department
Responsible for appropriately processing accounts payable
Daily data entry and reconciling of invoices and vouchers, including verifying department information and maintaining department files.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Respond to incoming calls and e mail inquiries, researches answers and information, and responds timely
Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

One year experience with any of the following:

- General office clerical work
- Must have prior customer service experience (either in person or telephone service)

· Results oriented – a "can-do" attitude with a desire to take on an increasing level of responsibility and a drive to meet project deadlines.

· Adaptable – thrives in a fast-paced environment; responds positively to evolving priorities or work assignments; open to feedback.

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
