Kennel Technician

Overview:
Join our team as a Kennel Technician and play a vital role in caring for our furry friends. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of animals under our care. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare and looking to make a difference in the lives of pets.

Duties:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kennel area
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals as needed
- Monitor animals for any signs of illness or distress and report to veterinary staff
- Perform when necessary for grooming or medical procedures
- Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and updates on their pets
- Assist veterinary staff with procedures as required

Requirements:
- Previous or animal care environment is preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling, including dog handling and techniques
- Familiarity with basic pet care practices such as feeding, grooming, and
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Passion for working with animals and ensuring their well-being
