Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who can drive exceptional guest experiences, optimize revenue, and ensure seamless daily functions across departments. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of hospitality management expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of guest service. As the face of the hotel, you will inspire your team to deliver memorable stays while managing operational efficiency and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments—from front desk to housekeeping—operate smoothly and efficiently.
Lead and manage hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Supervise guest services to ensure hotel guest service standards are consistently met or exceeded, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability.
Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and improve operational workflows.
Implement and uphold hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards aligned with industry best practices.
Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
Maintain excellent communication with staff through managerial communication channels, ensuring clarity in expectations and feedback.
Oversee revenue management strategies to increase occupancy rates and maximize revenue streams.
Handle guest relations issues promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
Monitor front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, night audit procedures, and guest check-in/check-out processes.
Collaborate with resort or hotel management teams to develop marketing initiatives that attract new guests while retaining loyal customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hotel management software such as property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and staff.
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing daily hotel operations, budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimization.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively across multiple departments.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
Experience in resort environments or large-scale hospitality operations is advantageous.
Strong managerial communication skills for clear direction and team motivation.
Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality industry including staffing, training, and compliance standards.
