Full Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for supporting routine production processes from Process Development to

manufacturing of medical devices and biologics in pre-filled syringes and vials.

· Application of process engineering science to develop formulation, aseptic filling and/or

assembly processes for medical devices and biologics products.

· Responsible for assisting with all non-aseptic and aseptic fills.

· Responsible for assisting with all preparation of equipment and materials needed for production runs.

· Responsible for assisting with the labelling, inspection and packaging of all production runs.

JOB COMPETENCIES:

Ability to interact effectively within all levels of the company.

Self-starter with ability to adjust schedules in order to meet commitments.

Excellent record-keeping and communication skills.

Knowledge of job-related regulatory requirements (cGMP, ISO, and FDA).

JOB CONDITIONS:

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that

must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential/functions of this job.

Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected.

Long periods of standing and walking can be expected in this position.

This position may require long periods of sitting, typing, computer entry or looking at a

computer.

Work Environment:

Company is engaged in the business of medical device product research and contract

manufacturing. As such, all staff work in or nearby either chemical or manufacturing

equipment and processes.

Potential limited exposure to hazardous chemicals in BSL 2 lab.

Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, specialized

clothing including laboratory uniform and appropriate shoes may be required in areas

associated with this position.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
syringe or vial filling: 1 year (Preferred)
