Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a healthcare practice. This vital role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, optimizing financial performance, and delivering exceptional patient care. The Practice Manager will serve as the backbone of the clinic, fostering a positive environment that promotes efficiency, quality service, and team collaboration. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise healthcare staff, including medical administrative support, nursing, and clinical personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial management, medical billing, and resource allocation to maximize practice profitability.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), patient management software, and other EMR systems to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and health regulation policies.
Ensure adherence to healthcare standards including CLIA, COLA, and OSHA.
Coordinate clinic activities by implementing efficient workflow processes, managing patient scheduling, and optimizing patient flow for improved service delivery.
Maintain compliance with medical records management, medical terminology standards, and healthcare practice policies while overseeing medical records and medical administrative support functions.
Handle human resources responsibilities such as training, performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor clinic performance metrics; analyze data related to patient care quality, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement best practices in acute care management and managed care strategies.
Ensure all practice activities comply with health regulation policies and manage risk through effective policy enforcement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in office management within clinical settings.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in healthcare environments such as clinics or hospitals.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
In-depth understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and managed care processes.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, health policy enforcement, and utilization management protocols.
Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to foster a positive patient experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical workflows in both dental office experience or acute care settings preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while promoting teamwork and professional development.
