Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for working with a variety of current team members on Environmental Projects. Projects will range from compliance inspections, spill response, environmental clean up, emergency response and monitoring of current ex-situ systems in place. You will play a crucial role in protecting the environment and promoting environmental stewardship.
```Duties:```
- Conduct monitoring/sampling of soil or water
- Assist with guiding excavations to limit the amount of non impacted material being removed
- Perform assessments and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with teams to design and implement environmental projects
- Stay up-to-date with environmental laws and regulations
- Provide guidance on environmental compliance to internal teams
- Manage environmental permits and reporting requirements
- Participate in project engineering and management activities
```Experience:```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in environmental science or a related field
- Knowledge of oilfield operations is ideal but can be trained
- Familiarity with EPA regulations and guidelines
- Experience with Storm Water Management Model (SWMM)
- Proficiency in conducting research and data analysis
- Understanding of sampling and monitoring methods
- The ability to build effective relationships with clients and co workers
