Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Associate to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline front desk operations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of the property
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
Assist with night audit procedures as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Hospitality or resort experience is advantageous but not required
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights if necessary
