Overview

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves safely transporting furniture and mattresses to customers, managing warehouse tasks, and supporting overall logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, warehouse experience, and a focus on safety and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to excellence.

Duties

Safely operate commercial box trucks, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
Load and unload furniture and mattresses using manual handling techniques and carts
Execute delivery routes efficiently using mobile devices for navigation and communication, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations.
Provide excellent customer service by delivering products professionally, addressing customer inquiries courteously, and ensuring complete satisfaction upon delivery.
Assist with warehouse operations including receiving shipments, moving merchandise within the facility, prepping for deliveries including product assembly, customer load outs and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling activities involving heavy or bulky items to prevent injury.
Support the loading and unloading process by manually handling goods with attention to weight handling guidelines in the workplace.

Skills

Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and power/hand tool operation
Valid driver’s license. Experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks a plus along with proficiency in delivery driving with a focus on safety.
Strong knowledge of driving regulations including adherence to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver with a track record of reliable route driving and load & unload activities.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques; physically capable of moving furniture and mattresses of varying weights up to 250 pounds.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred; comfort operating mobile devices for route navigation and communication.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their merchandise promptly while maintaining safety standards across all warehouse activities. We welcome candidates who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality service every day.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
