Full Job Description

Looking for a driven sales professional with manufacturing experience and strong cold-calling skills to grow industrial accounts. (estimated $50,000 – $90,000+ annually based on performance/commission). This position is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cold calling and outbound outreach to generate new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring needs are met from inquiry through delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to process RFQs and POs accurately and efficiently.
Present Astro’s machining, fabrication, and engineering capabilities clearly to prospective customers.
Manage the full sales process: quoting, follow-up, order tracking, and customer updates.
Address customer questions or concerns promptly and coordinate resolutions internally.
Use your understanding of manufacturing terms and processes to support customer needs.
Leverage your industrial sales experience to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for certain projects).
Experience in business development, inside sales, or account management.
Comfortable and confident making daily cold calls (required).
Manufacturing or industrial sales experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes.
Proven success in closing industrial or technical sales.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience processing RFQs and POs is a plus.
Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-focused mindset.
