About Us

Squeaky Clean & Dry is a cleaning and restoration company serving the Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania tri-state area. We handle water damage restoration, mold inspection and remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and carpet cleaning for residential and commercial clients. We work to IICRC S500, S520, and S700 standards, document every job thoroughly, and put customers first without fear based selling. We are growing, and we are looking for an estimator who can help us scope work accurately, close jobs professionally, and keep our documentation clean.

Role Summary

The Restoration Estimator is responsible for inspecting loss sites, scoping restoration work, and producing accurate, defensible estimates for water, mold, fire, and reconstruction jobs. This role sits at the point where field assessment meets sales and insurance documentation. You will be the person who walks a property, identifies the true scope of damage, writes it up in Xactimate, and presents a clear plan to the customer and the carrier. Strong estimators protect our margins, speed up approvals, and give customers confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect residential and commercial loss sites for water, mold, fire, and smoke damage, including moisture mapping and documentation of affected materials.

Produce accurate scopes of work and written estimates using Xactimate, aligned to IICRC S500, S520, and S700 standards.

Photograph and document all findings thoroughly for the job file and for insurance supporting documentation.

Present findings and estimates to customers in a clear, honest, consultative way, and support the close without pressure or fear based tactics.

Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to justify scope, submit supplements, and move claims toward approval.

Enter and maintain job data in ServiceMonster, keeping records accurate and current.

Coordinate with operations and field technicians to ensure the scope on paper matches the work performed, and adjust estimates as conditions are uncovered.

Follow up on open estimates and proposals through a structured sequence to improve close rates.

Maintain professional, branded documentation on every job.

Qualifications

Experience in restoration, insurance estimating, construction, or a closely related field.

Working knowledge of Xactimate, or the ability to learn it quickly with training.

Familiarity with IICRC standards (S500, S520, S700) preferred; IICRC certification is a plus.

Strong understanding of water, mold, and fire damage and the materials and methods involved in restoring them.

Comfortable in the field and on ladders, in crawlspaces, and in damaged structures.

Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical findings to homeowners and adjusters alike.

Organized, detail oriented, and reliable with documentation and follow up.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to pass a background check.
