Avid Ambassador – CNA Floater Full-Time • 40 Hours/Week • Flexible Schedule • Field-Based

Avid Health at Home is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and adaptable Avid Ambassador – CNA Floater to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced CNA who enjoys providing exceptional client care while also supporting fellow caregivers and representing Avid in the community.

As an Avid Ambassador, you'll be a trusted field resource—providing coverage for last-minute callouts, open shifts, new cases, and staffing needs while helping ensure our clients receive consistent, dependable care.

You'll also help welcome and mentor new caregivers, support their transition to permanent cases, and represent Avid at community events, schools, career fairs, and recruitment activities.

Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes
Cover last-minute callouts, open shifts, and new or vacant cases
Help orient and mentor new caregivers

Model Avid's standards for quality, professionalism, and compassionate care
Build relationships with clients, families, and team members
Participate in recruitment, job fairs, community events, and outreach
Help identify staffing needs and solutions with Avid leadership What We're Looking For

We're looking for: someone who is dependable, flexible, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping others. You should be comfortable adapting to changing needs, working independently, managing your time, and providing excellent client care.

Qualifications

Current CNA certification/registration; LPN or RN also welcome
1–2 years of home care, hospice, or healthcare experience preferred
CPR certification preferred and may be required for certain clients
Valid driver's license, insurance, satisfactory driving record, and reliable vehicle
Ability to travel throughout the service area
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Professional, compassionate, and dependable
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

The Details

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Flexible scheduling based on agency and staffing needs
Monday–Friday, with weekends and holidays as needed
Field-based position with travel required

This is an active role requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and safely lift, push, pull, and carry at least 25 pounds.
