Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead property management efforts, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about affordable housing and possess strong administrative, leasing, and conflict management skills.

Duties

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations
Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing units, conducting tours, and upselling available apartments
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 policies, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other relevant laws
Administer lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts effectively, and maintain positive relationships through excellent customer service
Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment
Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, filing, reporting, and record keeping

Skills

Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Landlord-Tenant law, and Fair Housing regulations. 3-5 Years experience preferred
Proficiency in property management software including Yardi and OneSite
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities
Experience in real estate administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, contracts administration, and legal documentation
Conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve disputes amicably
Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices (CMMS preferred)
Office experience with administrative support functions like filing, data entry, and record keeping
Ability to upsell units through effective sales techniques while maintaining compliance with fair housing laws
