Your Opportunity
As an Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist, you'll serve as both a technical expert and project manager.
You'll manage environmental projects from proposal through completion while serving as a primary point of contact for clients. Working alongside our environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, and permitting specialists, you'll help deliver practical, science-based solutions that meet our clients' goals while maintaining the high level of service that defines ASE.

What You'll Do
Project Management & Technical Leadership
- Manage multiple environmental projects from planning through completion.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
- Prepare project proposals, scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and technical reports.
- Conduct and oversee Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Plan and oversee soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and air sampling investigations.
- Manage remediation, compliance, permitting, and environmental due diligence projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, field staff, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Business Development & Team Leadership
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships that lead to repeat business.
- Identify new project opportunities and support business development initiatives.
- Prepare technical proposals and participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate across disciplines to provide comprehensive environmental consulting services.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of environmental consulting experience.
- Demonstrated project management experience with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and client communication.
- Proven experience serving as a primary client contact and developing long-term client relationships.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
- Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
- Self-motivated professional who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with others, and helping grow a successful consulting practice.
