Data Entry Analyst
Location: Somerville, MA
Pay: $22–$23/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Hours: Choose a consistent schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

A busy organization in Somerville is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Analyst to support the Accounts Payable team during a system conversion and upcoming Oracle implementation. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for someone who is systems-savvy, highly accurate, organized, and comfortable reviewing data for discrepancies.

The Data Entry Analyst will assist with reviewing, validating, cleaning up, and updating information in the current system to help ensure records are accurate and complete prior to implementation. The most important qualities for this role are strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions carefully, comfort learning systems, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate data in the existing system to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Support data cleanup and conversion-related activities prior to Oracle implementation.
Perform accurate data entry and administrative tasks as assigned by the department.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and company information.
Follow instructions carefully and complete work with a high level of accuracy.
Work independently while also supporting the Accounts Payable team as needed.
Communicate questions, issues, or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with additional administrative support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable learning new systems, software, and technology.
Systems-savvy with the ability to navigate databases, spreadsheets, or internal platforms.
Able to take direction well and follow instructions carefully.
Good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Previous data entry, administrative support, or accounts payable support experience preferred.
Experience with Oracle or system conversions is helpful but not required.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.
Available schedule options include:
- 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Candidates must be able to maintain a consistent chosen schedule.
