Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive experience at the front desk
Verify insurance with patient when patient arrives
Collect payments
Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation review in compliance with health information management standards
Handle multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately
Maintain appointment calendars and coordinate care plans in collaboration with clinical staff
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during all administrative processes
Perform filing, document scanning, and other clerical tasks necessary for efficient office operations Skills
Customer Service Skills a Must
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with health information management software
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and accurate data entry
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards

This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing quality patient care through efficient administrative support.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
