Full Job Description

LivSmart Home Services is seeking an experienced Door-to-Door Sales Manager to build, train, and lead residential outreach teams across North Carolina.

This role will focus on growing teams in the Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and Charlotte regions. The ideal candidate has at least three to five years of experience managing door-to-door sales teams, recruiting new representatives, developing strong field performers, and consistently increasing sales production.

LivSmart helps eligible homeowners access valuable home energy upgrades through government-funded and utility-supported programs. These upgrades may include heat pumps, electrical improvements, insulation, water heaters, and other energy-saving measures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field sales leader who wants to build and scale a team around a strong customer benefit and a growing program.

Role Overview

The Door-to-Door Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and managing field sales representatives across multiple North Carolina markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will spend time in the field, coach representatives directly, establish daily activity standards, monitor performance, and help expand LivSmart’s customer outreach operation.

Regular travel throughout the Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and Charlotte regions will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Train door-to-door sales representatives
Build and grow productive field sales teams across multiple regions
Lead field training, ride-alongs, role-playing sessions, and ongoing coaching
Establish daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales expectations
Monitor performance and closed sales
Develop team leaders and help create additional field management capacity
Conduct regular field visits and ensure representatives follow approved sales processes
Maintain a professional, ethical, and customer-focused sales culture
Coordinate territory assignments, canvassing plans, and team deployment
Work with operations and administrative teams to ensure customer information is accurate and properly submitted
Ensure representatives clearly and accurately explain program benefits and customer eligibility

Ideal Candidate

Three to five or more years of door-to-door sales leadership experience
Proven experience recruiting, training, and scaling sales teams
Strong track record of improving team production and representative performance
Experience managing commission-based field sales representatives
Comfortable traveling between Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Charlotte, and surrounding areas
Strong coaching, communication, and motivational skills
Highly organized and able to manage multiple teams and territories
Comfortable using CRM systems, reporting tools, and performance dashboards
Experience in solar, roofing, HVAC, home improvement, telecommunications, pest control, energy programs, or similar residential sales industries is highly desirable
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Compensation

This is a performance-based compensation opportunity.

Compensation will include:

Commission earned on personally generated sales
Override commissions on sales generated by representatives managed by the Door-to-Door Sales Manager
Bonuses
Gas allowance
Company-provided marketing materials, sales materials, and field supplies
Additional performance incentives may be introduced based on team growth and production

Specific commission and override amounts will be discussed during the interview process.
