Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while managing shift schedules and delegating tasks effectively.
Plan menus that align with the establishment’s concept, incorporating innovative dishes while adhering to dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food for large groups or special occasions.
Monitor food industry trends and continuously improve culinary techniques to elevate the dining experience for guests.

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management.
Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure environments.
Strong knowledge of food production, food handling, and food safety standards including sanitizing procedures.
Skilled in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation that delights guests’ palates.
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management to maximize efficiency.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage shift operations seamlessly.
Familiarity with dietary department requirements and accommodating special dietary needs confidently.
Exceptional communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and serving guests with warmth and professionalism.
