Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Recreation Coordinator to work at a high-profile retail client headquarters located in Beaverton, OR.
What you will do:

Coordinate daily recreation operations, programs, events, and member experiences.

Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and development to ensure operational excellence and consistency.

Coordinate recreation programs, leagues, tournaments, and special events that drive member engagement and align with operational goals.

Monitor participation, member feedback, and program performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Serve as a resource for recreation team by communicating operational updates, expectations, and priorities.

Oversee equipment, inventory, and activity spaces to ensure safety, readiness, and quality experiences.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.

Partner with cross-functional teams to support wellness initiatives, events, and community engagement activities.
What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred.

2–3 years of experience in recreation, wellness, sports programming, member services, or a related field, preferably in a fitness, hospitality, or community-based environment.

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.

Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and create positive, engaging experiences for diverse populations.

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and respond effectively to operational challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and stakeholder groups.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize internal operating systems and technology platforms.

Ability to analyze participation trends, member feedback, and operational data to support continuous improvement and program success.

Self-motivated, team-oriented professional with a strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
