- Provides administrative support for all aspects for Planning, Zoning, and Stormwater Management.
- Provides research and support to the Building Inspector for permits, complaints, and violations.
- Coordinates record retention including, but not limited to:, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Code Enforcement, security and bond files, with documentation for, planning, zoning, Stormwater MS4 permit, and code enforcement.
- Produces a variety of materials and correspondence, including items requiring confidentiality from rough draft, straight copy, recording devices or oral instruction.
- Provides support for land use Boards and for meetings, site walks and public hearings, including but not limited to: notices and postings; agendas, advertising, certified mailings and preparation of Planning Board and ZBA Board packets. Provides staff reports to the ZBA as requested. Records documents, as needed, at the Hillsboro Country Registry of Deeds.
- Attends Board meetings as necessary and records minutes.
- Provides staffing support for minor Site Plans and Home Occupation Site Plans, working with applicants, developing materials, and presenting reports to the Planning Board including writing and distributing decisions.
- Reviews and approves Driveway Permits.
- Provides customer service and assistance for property owners, applicants, contractors, consultants, and other departments via written communication, telephone, and electronic media or in person.
- Responds to zoning, planning, building and code inquiries, and directs more complicated issues to appropriate parties.
- Coordinates the processing and submittal of accounts payable and cash receipts to appropriate department. Maintains a basic accounting for escrow accounts for Planning Board or ZBA cases.
- Collects monies for applications and process payments and deposits through the cash receipts system.
- Administers requests for information and refers communications to the respective authorities or departments and maintains Right to Know documentation.
- Maintains records on Excavations according to RSA 155-E, coordinates the permitting and permit renewals as needed. Works with third party engineers as needed.
- Lead compliance with the MS4 permit, including leading education, public involvement efforts, updating Stormwater regulations and ordinance, working with developers and industrial partners on permits, writing and tracking stormwater permits, writing stormwater plans with town departments, inspecting stormwater permitees, and representing Wilton at Stormwater Coalition meetings.
- Assists with maintenance and updates of the Town website.
- Oversees departmental supplies & equipment and coordinate purchasing within the department.
- Provides reporting and statistics for the department, boards and commissions from department software system.
- Maintains, updates and distributes ordinances and regulations for printing and distribution.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Provide assistance and coverage as needed to other Town Departments.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
