C2 Management is looking for a hands-on Electronics Bench Technician / Component-Level Repair Technician who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and restore a wide variety of electronic equipment.
This is more than a traditional computer repair position. Our technicians work with everything from computers and servers to circuit boards, power supplies, networking equipment, medical and laboratory equipment, motors, and industrial electronics.
No two days are the same.
What You'll Do
As part of our Asset Recovery team, you'll evaluate surplus electronics, determine what can be repaired, troubleshoot failures, complete repairs, test functionality, and prepare equipment for resale.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and electrical equipment
- Perform bench-level and component-level troubleshooting
- Identify failed components, circuits, power supplies, boards, and assemblies
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, soldering stations, and other diagnostic equipment
- Perform soldering, component replacement, and basic circuit board repair
- Test voltage, continuity, resistance, signals, and equipment functionality
- Research schematics, technical specifications, service manuals, and repair procedures
- Determine practical repair solutions for unfamiliar equipment
- Source replacement components and parts
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation
- Document testing and repairs using inventory software
- Restore and prepare equipment for resale through eBay, GovDeals, HiBid, and other resale channels
- Collaborate with Asset Recovery and Sales teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench
- Follow PPE and all company safety requirements

Qualifications – Required
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electronics, electrical equipment, or related technology
- Understanding of electronic circuits and components
- Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic failures
- Experience using a multimeter and other electronic diagnostic tools
- Ability to solder and replace electronic components
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Computer proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to research technical information, schematics, specifications, and repair procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
We'd especially like to hear from candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Electronics bench repair
- Component-level troubleshooting
- Circuit board repair
- Oscilloscopes
- Spectrum analyzers
- Soldering stations
- Bench power supplies
- Electronic diagnostic equipment
- Industrial electronics
- High-voltage troubleshooting, including 200/440V
- Power supply repair
- Electric motor repair
- Small engine repair
- Computer or server hardware repair
- Medical or laboratory equipment repair
- Forklift, Reach Truck, or Electric Pallet Jack operation
An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience is absolutely welcome.
