At Care With Love, our Lead Care Associates are dependable professionals who help ensure our clients continue receiving exceptional care, even when unexpected situations arise. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and is passionate about improving the lives of seniors.
As a Lead Care Associate, you will serve as a flexible member of our care team by providing direct client care, covering caregiver call-offs, supporting new client starts, representing Care With Love in the community, and engaging seniors through meaningful activities and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care to senior clients.
- Cover caregiver call-offs and last-minute scheduling needs.
- Travel to clients throughout Winchester City, Frederick County, Clarke County, Loudoun County, Shenandoah County, and Warren County.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and community outings.
- Visit senior living communities to lead crafts, games, social activities, and meaningful engagement for residents.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Serve as a dependable resource and positive role model for fellow caregivers.
- Assist with new client introductions, supervisory visits, and special assignments as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and promptly communicate any changes in a client's condition to the office.
- Represent Care With Love with professionalism, compassion, and integrity at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing care for senior adults in a facility or private home setting.
- Experience working with individuals living with dementia is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle with current automobile insurance.
- Must be comfortable transporting clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and community activities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the office and care team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass all required background checks and employment screenings.

This position requires exceptional flexibility.

- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Regular Days Off: Wednesday and Friday
Because this is a lead support position, you must be willing and able to adjust your daily plans and respond quickly to changing client and staffing needs. We are looking for someone who can confidently shift priorities at a moment's notice and provide dependable coverage wherever it is needed most.
