A Grassroot Associate position in Georgia knocks door-to-door having specific conversations with voters about the issues that impact their lives the most. Focus on Gwinnett County. We are willing to consider other areas on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation: $20.00 hourly with the ability to earn incentives.
Qualifications:
1. Must have your own transportation.
2. Have a valid Driver’s License.
3. Previous door knocking experience preferred not required.

Canvass America is hiring Grassroots Associates in Georgia to support public engagement efforts on behalf of the Libre Initiative.
Role Overview
Conduct door-to-door canvassing and engage with Latino voters on issues that matter most to them.
Work flexible hours, typically 20–38 hours per week, with pay of $20 per hour with the opportunity of earning an incentive.
Training, support, and a fun team environment are provided.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
Comfortable working and walking outdoors in the heat and interacting with community members.

Duties
- Conduct outdoor canvassing and door-to-door outreach to engage community members and promote our initiatives
- Develop and implement effective grassroots campaigns tailored to local audiences
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with diverse populations in both bilingual and monolingual settings
- Build rapport with community members through active listening, customer service, and negotiation skills
- Coordinate with team members to organize events, distribute materials, and gather feedback
- Track outreach efforts, record interactions, and report on campaign progress regularly
- Assist in fundraising activities by engaging potential supporters and explaining program benefits
Experience
- Supervising experience or leadership roles in community outreach or field sales preferred
- Proven marketing or canvassing experience in outdoor environments
- Bilingual abilities highly desirable to connect with diverse communities effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade confidently
- Field sales experience or door-to-door sales background is a plus
- Customer service experience that demonstrates patience and professionalism
- Experience in telemarketing or fundraising campaigns is advantageous
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and engaging directly with the public
