Job Summary
The Chief Compliance Officer serves as the senior executive responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Jaweed Enterprise's enterprise-wide compliance, ethics, governance, and risk management programs. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, executive leadership, and business units, the Chief Compliance Officer ensures the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate policies, and the highest standards of ethical conduct.
The Chief Compliance Officer safeguards the integrity and reputation of Jaweed Enterprise by promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and corporate responsibility while supporting the organization's long-term strategic objectives.

1. Compliance, Ethics, and Governance)
Develops, implements, and manages Jaweed Enterprise's enterprise-wide compliance and ethics program.

Establishes policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
c)
Provides guidance and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors regarding legal, regulatory, governance, and ethical matters.
d)
Maintains and promotes the organization's Code of Conduct and ethical business standards.
e)
Monitors evolving regulatory requirements and ensures organizational readiness and compliance.
f)
Oversees regulatory filings, certifications, and reporting requirements.
2. Risk Managementa)
Identifies, evaluates, and mitigates enterprise-wide compliance and operational risks.
b)
Develops risk assessment frameworks and conducts periodic reviews of business operations.
c)
Collaborates with management to create and implement corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified.
d)
Advises leadership regarding emerging legal, regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
e)
Maintains enterprise risk management programs that align with organizational objectives.
3. Investigations and Compliance Monitoringa)
Leads investigations involving allegations of misconduct, regulatory violations, unethical behavior, or policy breaches.
b)
Administers confidential reporting and whistleblower programs.
c)
Monitors compliance effectiveness through audits, assessments, reviews, and testing programs.
d)
Coordinates responses to regulatory examinations and inquiries.
e)
Ensures timely remediation of compliance deficiencies and corrective actions.
4. Management and Administrationa)
Provides leadership and oversight of the compliance and risk management functions of Jaweed Enterprise.
b)
Develops systems, controls, and procedures to strengthen organizational accountability and operational integrity.
c)
Assures a work environment that promotes ethical conduct, transparency, and professionalism.
d)
Participates in executive-level planning and organizational decision-making.
e)
Manages departmental budgets, resources, staffing, and performance goals.
f)
Recommends organizational improvements designed to enhance governance and compliance effectiveness.
5. Board and Executive Leadership Supporta)
Regularly informs the Board of Directors regarding compliance activities, risk assessments, investigations, and regulatory developments.
b)
Provides compliance and ethics reporting to executive leadership and board committees.
c)
Assists the Board in understanding governance obligations and organizational risk exposure.
d)
Recommends policy enhancements and governance practices that strengthen organizational performance.
e)
Supports leadership in maintaining a culture of compliance and accountability across the enterprise.
6. Training and Organizational Developmenta)
Develops and delivers compliance, ethics, governance, and regulatory training programs.
b)
Ensures all personnel understand organizational policies and compliance expectations.
c)
Promotes organizational awareness regarding legal and regulatory developments.
d)
Establishes programs encouraging ethical decision-making and professional accountability.
7. Community and Regulatory Relationsa)
Serves as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and compliance-related stakeholders.
b)
Represents Jaweed Enterprise in matters involving compliance, governance, ethics, and regulatory affairs.
c)
Maintains constructive relationships with regulators, industry organizations, and external advisors.
d)
Promotes public confidence in the integrity and accountability of Jaweed Enterprise.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions
This is a high-responsibility executive position requiring strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, confidentiality, and leadership under pressure.
The Chief Compliance Officer regularly:
- Manages complex regulatory and compliance matters.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information.
- Balances multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Advises executive leadership on high-risk decisions.
- Conducts investigations and compliance reviews.
- Develops constructive relationships with executives, regulators, auditors, employees, and stakeholders.

Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, Public Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
- Master's Degree, Juris Doctor (JD), or other advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in compliance, governance, risk management, legal affairs, audit, or regulatory oversight.
- Minimum 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading enterprise compliance programs.
- Experience interacting with executive leadership, boards of directors, regulators, and external auditors.

- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
