Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting surgical teams during procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to comprehensive surgical care across various specialties, including trauma, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting complex surgical procedures within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)

Required 3+ years of experiance

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to aseptic techniques.
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools efficiently.
Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout surgeries to ensure stability and safety.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Support infection prevention protocols by adhering to hospital policies on sterilization and contamination control.
Assist with the treatment of fractures and trauma cases by providing appropriate surgical support.
Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during various procedures such as endoscopy or cardiovascular surgeries.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, nurses, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations related to infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety standards.
Participate in continuous education on new surgical techniques, medical terminology updates, and equipment operation.

Experience

Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program is required.
Proven experience assisting in diverse surgical settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular surgery assistance, neurosurgery support, orthopedic procedures, pediatric surgeries, and trauma care.
Prior experience working within hospital environments with familiarity in medical-surgical units and critical care settings such as ICU or PICU.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and treatment protocols for acute care patients.
Proficiency in handling medical equipment sterilization processes and maintaining surgical instruments.
Experience utilizing EHR systems for accurate documentation of medical records.
Strong analysis skills for assessing patient data such as vital signs and physiological responses during surgeries.
Ability to perform suturing techniques efficiently while maintaining aseptic conditions.
Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention practices and hospital policies on infection control measures.
