Valley Steel & Wire Sales Account Managers are friendly, hard-working, service-minded professionals. We have experience working in fast-paced environments, enjoy working with a collaborative team, and have prior sales experience (preferably business-to-business).

Sales Account Managers at Valley Steel & Wire have an incredibly important role - to serve our customers exceptionally well and develop new sales opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve existing and new customers by providing service and using effective sales strategies.
Serve customers by phone, email, and walk-in with orders, quotes, and inquiries.
Use relationship-focused sales & service methods to build long-term customer relationships.

Territory Sales

Develop & maintain long-term customer relationships along regular delivery route sales territories.
Coordinate directly with buyers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Communicate market changes, specials, and promotions to customers.
Seek out and cultivate new customer relationships to build new sales.
Develop market strategies and achieve sales goals.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls to help customers with orders, quotes, and inquiries.
Gather information from vendors for sourcing and quoting special order products.
Provide courteous and complete communication by phone, email, and face-to-face.
Record and maintain detailed records.
Process payments; cash, check, credit card.

Additional responsibilities and compensation progress over time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
