Duties

Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and face-to-face interactions to promote insurance products and services
Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate insurance plans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA where applicable
Negotiate terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet their coverage needs while aligning with company policies
Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications, updating customer records, and maintaining accurate documentation
Utilize marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones through personalized communication and follow-up
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, explaining product features clearly, and guiding clients through the sales process
Support benefits administration by explaining available options and assisting clients in understanding policy benefits and coverage details

Experience

Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, demonstrating the ability to generate leads and close deals effectively
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets in competitive markets
Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to connect with a diverse customer base; bilingual proficiency is a significant advantage
Familiarity with sales administration tools, CRM systems, or other analysis software to track performance metrics and client information
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey complex information and build rapport with clients
Knowledge of insurance sales processes, telemarketing techniques, and marketing strategies to expand outreach efforts
Experience in customer service roles that require active listening, problem-solving, and maintaining professionalism under pressure
