Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Thursday 2:30pm-12:00am. 36 hours weekly.
The Nurse Supervisor at Royal Oaks Hospital provides clinical leadership and oversees the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for coordinating patient care, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Nurse Supervisor provides direct patient care, patient and family education, and helps foster a culture centered on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Provide leadership and clinical oversight for the nursing team during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of safe, effective, age-appropriate nursing care.
- Perform direct patient care within the RN scope of practice, including assessments, medication administration, and clinical interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, update plans of care, and ensure patients and families receive education and discharge instructions.
- Support staffing needs to maintain quality patient care and appropriate clinical coverage.
- Mentor, orient, and serve as a resource for new nursing staff.
- Promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral emergencies using approved interventions and current certifications.
- Maintain professional nursing standards while contributing to a collaborative, respectful workplace.

Associate’s degree in nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Must possess and maintain a current, active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire
