Full Job Description

Job Overview

WE are a small company with BIG things going on! Be part of the energy! We are seeking a part-time Accounts Receivables Clerk who is good at math, enjoys consistency and organization, and has a high degree of accuracy in all matters including data entry and account management. Applicant should be adept at working with technology and utilizing multiple applications simultaneously to accomplish the demands of the job. At least one year experience with Quick Books Online (QBO) is preferred and some familiarity with Excel and Google Spreadsheets formatting and formulas is preferred. The ideal candidate is a team player that is also comfortable working alone and who is reliable, friendly, and has a strong work ethic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect all information needed to calculate bills receivable (order amounts, discount rates, etc.), including contact with Scheduling Coordinator and crew leaders to ensure accurate billing to our customers who require specific billing situations.
Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure the accuracy of final bill
Issue invoices and send them to customers through various channels (mail, e-mail, etc.)
Patience and grace in responding to customer inquires on invoices and billing concerns
Apply check and credit card payments to customer accounts
In-depth understanding of all services offered by the company, so can respond to incoming phone calls and emails
In-depth understanding of seasonality of services, so understand the flow of the work load in the office and in the field
Operations data entry into QBO
Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and data entry into respective spreadsheets and QBO
Set up new customer accounts in respective service spreadsheets and QBO and work with scheduling coordinator and subcontractors to obtain rates
Update customer records, as needed
Weekly follow-up on overdue accounts
Enter staff time card data and generate staff credit card reports
Share in equal distribution of general office tasks and maintenance including answering phones, filing, etc.
Office is located in the basement of a residential home in NE Fort Collins. Office access is from rear of property through walk-out basement. Family pets have access to home and office, so individuals with aversions to animals and/or allergies should not apply.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
