Billing SpecialistJoin Our Team as a Billing Specialist!

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or financial operations? We are seeking a motivated Billing Specialist to support the financial success of our growing print manufacturing organization. In this role, you'll work closely with sales, customer service, production, and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing, timely invoicing, account management, and exceptional customer support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys problem-solving, financial analysis, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Process and analyze jobs submitted by Sales Representatives for billing accuracy.
Create, review, and distribute pre-bills and invoices.
Manage billing inquiries and resolve invoicing discrepancies promptly.
Make invoice corrections and adjustments as needed.
Calculate and apply sales tax accurately.
Monitor customer accounts and support accounts receivable activities.
Assist customers with invoice reviews, account questions, and billing concerns.
Prepare and balance monthly financial and management reports.
Collaborate with management, sales teams, customer service representatives, and customers to ensure smooth billing operations.
Train and educate internal staff on billing procedures and process improvements.
Maintain organized filing systems for cost sheets, job bags, and billing records.
Safeguard confidential financial and customer information.

QualificationsRequired:

High School Diploma or GED.
3-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred:

Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in the printing, manufacturing, or production industry.
Understanding of sales tax calculations and invoicing processes.
Knowledge of paper handling, cutting processes, and print manufacturing operations.
