Lead Carpenter
Harvest Luxury Builders | Piedmont Triad, NC | Full-Time
Harvest Luxury Builders is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to help manage and execute high-quality residential remodeling projects throughout the Piedmont Triad.
We are looking for a dependable, skilled carpenter who can lead work in the field, plan ahead, coordinate a small crew and trade partners, and keep projects moving without constant supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry
- Lead carpenters, helpers, and trade partners in the field
- Review project scopes, plans, and construction details
- Plan daily work and anticipate upcoming labor and material needs
- Complete framing, structural repairs, trim, doors, windows, subfloor repairs, and other remodeling work
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, inspections, and jobsite activities
- Maintain quality, safety, cleanliness, and protection of the customer’s home
- Identify problems early and communicate them before they cause delays or rework
- Document progress through JobTread, including time entries, daily logs, and photographs
- Recognize work outside the approved scope and report potential change orders before proceeding
- Help train and develop less-experienced team members
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of residential carpentry or remodeling experience
- Strong rough- and finish-carpentry skills
- Experience leading a small crew or coordinating subcontractors
- Ability to read plans, scopes, and construction details
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
- Ability to plan several days ahead and estimate routine material needs
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable attendance and consistent punctuality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules, timekeeping, photographs, and daily job logs
Experience with structural repairs, temporary shoring, floor systems, windows and doors, occupied-home remodeling, crawlspaces, waterproofing, or JobTread is especially valuable.

Compensation: Based on experience, demonstrated skill, leadership ability, and the level of responsibility you can assume.
