Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lamination Team Lead to direct and lead a manufacturing team. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of staff in a quality driven manufacturing facility.

Must be able to effectively complete the following duties of a production associate in the Lamination Area:

· Reads and understands work instructions for all Lamination Equipment

· Able to load, set up, start up and operate Lamination Equipment according to procedures

· Reads and understands Work Orders and can complete necessary documentation including input into Epicor

· Performs routine equipment maintenance and identifies maintenance concerns to Maintenance Personnel and Management.

· Inspects products for quality and reports any quality-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

· Audit Lamination Equipment settings to procedure manual

· Assists Lamination personnel with processes and procedures; including change outs and getting/returning material.

· Operates a machine as needed for production efficiency

As a Lead Person in the Lamination area, you must be able to effectively complete the following duties:

· Trains, organizes and directs personnel to maximize productivity and ensure quality and safety requirements.

· Maintains and strives to improve Lamination Area’s overall efficiency.

· Summarizes production and downtime data daily. Audits and verifies data entry into Epicor

· Ensures good housekeeping throughout Lamination Area

· Follows Production Schedule and works with Production Planning to optimize production

· Attends and supports production planning meetings

· Communicates employee and personnel concerns to department manager immediately

· Communicates needs and updates to other departments.

· Communicates with other Production Team Leads on schedule/work order status.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

2. Complies with all ATI employment policies, procedures/processes and programs. Performs duties in compliance with quality, ISO 9001 and ISO 140001, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes and programs.

3. Contributes to the company’s goals of total quality and cost improvement.

4. Demonstrates a positive attitude towards the company, Management, other Associates and clients/customers. Participates in assigned activities, assignments and projects to further elevate the company’s vision, values and team spirit.

5. Assists and supports others in the achievement of ATI’s and department’s goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing lead role
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
