Debt Collectors International is hiring experienced collectors who know how to work a file, build leverage, negotiate with decision-makers, and recover money.

We are not working junk paper.

We are not working recycled consumer portfolios.

We are not working dead accounts with no documentation, no leverage, and no path to payment.

We work fresh, fully documented B2B commercial claims for active, operating businesses.

What You Will Work

You will be working commercial B2B claims backed by real documentation, including:

Invoices
Contracts
Purchase orders
Statements
Business records
Supporting documentation

This is commercial collections for collectors who know how to use documentation, leverage, urgency, and negotiation to get money recovered.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for individuals with collection experience.

Commercial collections, B2B collections, third-party collections, business-to-business recovery, or legal collections experience is highly preferred.

If you have not worked directly in collections, the best transferable background is high-performance sales.

That means you have experience making a large volume of calls, handling rejection, negotiating with decision-makers, reading situations quickly, managing follow-up, and pushing conversations toward a resolution.

We are looking for people who can think, communicate, negotiate, and produce.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of active B2B commercial accounts and work each file with urgency, strategy, and discipline.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of active commercial collection accounts.
Reviewing invoices, contracts, purchase orders, statements, and supporting documents.
Building leverage before making contact.
Performing skip tracing to locate decision-makers and business contacts.
Calling business owners, CFOs, AP managers, controllers, and legal departments.
Negotiating payment in full, settlements, and structured payment arrangements.
Identifying accounts that may qualify for litigation referral.
Following up consistently until the account is resolved.
Handling objections, stalls, disputes, and avoidance.
Maintaining complete CRM notes on every account.
Documenting all activity the same day.
Hitting and exceeding weekly and monthly recovery targets.

The Environment

This is a phone-based, high-volume, high-accountability role.

You will be expected to make calls, work files, follow up, document activity, and produce recoveries.

This is not a passive desk job.

This is not a slow administrative position.

This is a performance-driven collections role for people who can handle pressure, stay organized, and negotiate professionally with business decision-makers.

The Money

We offer weekly base pay plus uncapped commission.

Commission is paid weekly.

Top performers can earn $10,000–$30,000+ per month in commission.

That number is real. It is available to collectors who know how to work files, create urgency, negotiate effectively, and recover money.

Strong Backgrounds for This Role

Collections experience is highly preferred.

However, if you have a strong sales background and you can negotiate, handle rejection, make calls, read business documents, and push for decisions, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

Prior commercial or B2B collections experience preferred.
Strong phone communication skills required.
Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls.
Ability to negotiate with business owners, CFOs, AP managers, and legal contacts.
Ability to review and understand invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and statements.
Ability to handle disputes, objections, stalls, and difficult conversations.
CRM proficiency.
Same-day documentation of all account activity.
Ability to work onsite in Maitland, FL, Monday through Friday.
Strong work ethic, thick skin, and high personal standards.
