Position Summary

The Director of Housing Programs is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administration, and strategic direction of the organization's housing programs. This role provides leadership to program staff, ensures compliance with funding and regulatory requirements, and works collaboratively with community partners to deliver high-quality, person-centered services that promote housing stability and client well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee all housing program activities, budgets, operations, and program staff.
Develop, implement, and maintain program initiatives that align with organizational goals and program objectives.
Supervise and support case managers in conducting comprehensive client assessments to identify physical, mental, emotional, and social needs that may impact housing stability.
Ensure the development of individualized, person-centered care plans that address health, housing, and social service needs while respecting each client's goals, preferences, and level of participation.
Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, landlords, government agencies, and other service partners.
Transport, accompany, and advocate for clients during medical and social service appointments as needed, and coordinate appropriate follow-up services.
Lead and facilitate weekly or biweekly multidisciplinary case review meetings to coordinate services and improve client outcomes.
Monitor program compliance with agency policies, funding requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of client interactions and services within the agency's database in accordance with program standards.
Monitor program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, training, and performance evaluations for program staff.
Prepare reports, maintain program records, and assist with budgeting, grant reporting, and quality assurance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in housing, case management, or human services, including supervisory experience.
Knowledge of housing programs, community resources, and case management best practices.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorders, and other barriers to housing stability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.

Walk, sit, and use hands and arms to reach and perform job-related tasks.

Travel locally to client homes, partner agencies, and community appointments.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
