Full-Time | $22.00–$25.00 per hour

Join Our Culinary Team!

Winter Park Racquet Club, one of Central Florida's premier private clubs, is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to lead our pastry program. This is an exciting opportunity for a pastry professional who enjoys creating exceptional desserts while working in a collaborative, high-end culinary environment.

Our culinary team serves members through lakeside dining, poolside dining at the Sugar Shack, and traditional clubhouse dining, in addition to weddings, wine dinners, holiday celebrations, and private events. If you're passionate about baking, enjoy bringing creative ideas to life, and want to grow your career in a supportive private club environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Prepare exceptional desserts, pastries, artisan breads, cakes, and specialty baked goods.
Develop seasonal dessert menus and creative specialty offerings.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
Manage daily pastry production and maintain an organized workspace.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Assist with banquet production, weddings, holiday events, wine dinners, and member functions.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to create memorable dining experiences.
Participate in a working interview to demonstrate pastry skills and techniques.

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of pastry experience in a private club, hotel, resort, upscale restaurant, or similar environment.
Formal culinary or pastry education preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Strong knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques.
Experience preparing desserts, pastries, artisan breads, cakes, and specialty baked goods.
Creative, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
