Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking an
ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER to join our
VASCULAR ECHO team!
The Echocardiographer provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses patient information and age of patients to provide care. Whenever applicable, demonstrates understanding of the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.
HOURS: Full-Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period. Weekday day hours with weekend call
Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- One or more years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred but not required.
- ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS

Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
- Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
