Position Title: Recruiter

Wage: Based on Experience

Our Manitowoc, WI manufacturing client is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join their team. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys connecting with people, building talent pipelines, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will lead recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions while assisting with onboarding, staffing coordination, and administrative HR functions. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite position that offers a very competitive salary and benefits package.

Recruiter Responsibilities:

Source, recruit, and screen candidates using job boards, databases, social media, and other recruiting channels
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to identify qualified candidates
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly and exempt positions, from sourcing through offer acceptance
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recommend qualified candidates
Coordinate job postings, employment advertising, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives
Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientations, transfers, and promotions while maintaining hiring documentation
Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout the hiring process and promote a positive candidate experience
Collaborate with temporary staffing agencies to support workforce needs and track temporary-to-hire conversions
Maintain recruiting reports, employee records, and compliance with employment laws and company policies
Provide administrative support for HR systems, training activities, receptionist coverage, and other HR projects as needed

Requirements for Recruiter:

Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum one year of recruiting experience for hourly manufacturing positions
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and HRIS/ATS software
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with timekeeping or HRIS systems preferred
Experience partnering with temporary staffing agencies a plus
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
