Full Job Description

Our client is a category-leading third-party provider to the food and beverage industry. They seek a Senior Operations Manager to oversee on-site operations at locations throughout Wisconsin. The position is 90% on-site at client locations and 10% remote work. A complete benefit package is offered with a salary range of $110K- $130K and a target bonus program. The candidate should live in the state of Wisconsin; relocation benefits are available for a well-qualified candidate. Job responsibilities include:

Recruit and hire top talent, foster a shared sense of purpose and belonging, and structure roles in a way that aligns with team members’ strengths, goals, and motivations
Provide hands-on coaching and support growth through development plans tailored to each person
Oversee Crew Chiefs and Leads across multiple sites and shifts, ensuring customer expectations and team needs are met.
Anticipate staffing or scheduling challenges and step in as needed
Set clear expectations, track performance, and ensure follow-through.
Create systems that measure success and promote a high standard of urgency, ownership, and quality
Partner closely with Crew Chiefs to maintain exceptional service levels. Build strong relationships with customers at all levels and ensure all contractual and operational expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Manage and optimize account profitability by overseeing labor, expenses, and overall operational efficiency
Leverage internal systems and processes to drive ongoing improvements while ensuring compliance with customer requirements
Lead the onboarding of new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and high-quality service delivery
Drive account management processes to strengthen customer relationships, increase satisfaction, and identify growth
Lead regular reviews and help capture customer feedback and testimonials
Collaborate with leadership on new business efforts, including site walkthroughs, proposals
Contribute as a key member of the leadership team by helping shape strategy, participating in planning sessions, and owning key initiatives and performance metrics
Develop and refine processes related to service delivery, customer onboarding, and operational best practices
Manage 5-8 direct reports (Crew Chiefs and/or Leads) and 40-60+ indirect reports (frontline team members)
This is a remote position with approximately 90% spent on-site at customer locations throughout WI; remaining time will be spent at off-site meetings or working from home. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required to support new business, training, etc.

The following qualifications must be met to be considered for the position:

Minimum of 7-10 years in operations management or a related field with prior experience in food and beverage manufacturing
A background in food manufacturing quality or sanitation is a big plus
Strong supervisory experience in multi-site and with multiple reporting relationships (such as Regional Operations Manager (preferred) or Plant Manager (recommended))
Inspirational leader who can motivate and develop others, and drive accountability for results
Strong coaching and people development mindset and experience
Strong collaborator fostering open dialogs and collaboration; excellent organizational and proactive critical thinking skills
Lean/CI methodology exposure; proficiency in Spanish preferred
Strong financial acumen and understanding of profit drivers
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and phone apps
Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and travel as needed according to customer and team schedules

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
