We are seeking an experienced floral designer to join our growing team.
The floral designer position is ideal for a junior/intermediate designer and/or freelance designer interested in a stable part time/full time position working in a beautiful studio setting.
We are an established, high-end boutique floral design studio that caters to a variety of clients. Our brand is custom designed, artistic floral arrangements for everyday, corporate, weddings and events, paired with stellar customer/client service.
The ideal candidates will have a combination of raw or trained design talent, along with a great customer service personality and a strong and reliable work ethic. To be successful in this position, the candidate must be quick and adept at designing a variety of beautiful arrangements consistent with our brand. Must also be self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collectively as part of a small team. This means we all work together and share in all tasks (including processing flowers, designing, coordinating deliveries, etc).
Overall qualifications/requirements:
* Minimum of 2 - 5 years floral design experience
* Creating bridal work including bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and centerpieces.
* An artistic eye for color, aesthetics, texture, scale, styling and overall design/creative concepts
* Able to be focused/detail-oriented, and also to adjust/multi-task based on a variable workload and set of priorities
* Good financial sense to insure arrangements are created per budget standards and to value
* Ability to work flexible schedule depending on seasonal demands
