Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role includes ensuring seamless patient care and pharmacy operations throughout the day. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. As a Pharmacist, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.

Duties

Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
Dispense medications accurately while providing clear instructions to patients regarding their use.
Conduct medication therapy management and patient counseling to enhance understanding of prescribed treatments.
Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary in collaboration with healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication inventory.
Provide education on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication storage.
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians in their daily tasks and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, medical terminology, and acute care protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology essential for effective communication with healthcare teams.
Excellent patient service skills to foster positive relationships with patients and caregivers.
Proficiency in pharmacy software systems for managing prescriptions and patient records efficiently.
Experience in hospital pharmacy settings is preferred, particularly in acute care environments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
