Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our residential treatment program. The Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides mentorship. education, and support to individuals and families in the Fourth and Hope community honoring the mission, vision, and core values of the organization. This position helps clients at various points in their recovery connecting them to resources for lifelong success.

Duties

Provides mentoring/support to individuals/families in services in coordination with clinical services.
Assist designed clinical personnel in completing specified support activities.
Provides education and support to family members.
Customize support to meet the needs of individual clients.
Assist clients with skills training, case management, group facilitation, and non-clinical intervention.
Plans and organizes activities within the outpatient structure.
Completes daily paperwork requirements, including assigned clinical record documentation.
Collaborates with clinical teams and case managers to advocate for the best interest of the client.
Transport clients appropriate.
Maybe required to cover evening/weekend hours and be "on-call" as required.
Participates in at least weekly clinical overnight in accordance with ADHS requirements.
Delivers honest and professional communication.
Consistently contribute to a safe and positive work environment.
Maintains regular attendance and timeliness.
Performs additional job duties that may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department ensuring compliance and adequate services.

Qualifications

Must possess RADT certification or Peer Support Certification.
Must be 21 years of age, High School diploma/GED plus six weeks (240hrs) of behavioral health experience.
Successful completion of a qualified Peer Support Training is required within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience as a recipient of Behavioral Health Services.
Demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of Fourth and Hope.
Ability to understand the breadth of Fourth and Hope's programs and services.
Must possess a current and valid California driver's license, including a driving record acceptable to F&H insurance company.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
