Full Job Description

Behavioral Health Caseworker

Revive Therapeutic Services is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals through comprehensive mental health and behavioral support. Behavioral Health Caseworker will provide effective behavioral health support that empowers clients to achieve their employment and personal goals.

Job Type

Full-Time Employment (FTE) - in office

Responsibilities

Caseload Management:

Carry a caseload of 20 clients per month clients who have identified behavioral health concerns.
Develop employment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on overcoming behavioral health challenges.

Behavioral Health Support

Provide ongoing behavioral health support for clients, including those who are employed and in post-employment stages.
Develop and implement tailored behavioral health strategies to assist clients in maintaining employment.
Collaborate with clients and their support systems to identify and address any barriers to success.
Assist clients in developing skills related to time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving.

SSI/SSD Assistance:

Assist clients in applying for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSD) when there is a valid claim.
Guide clients through the application process to ensure comprehensive and accurate submissions.

Crisis Intervention:

Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute behavioral health issues.
Make appropriate referrals to behavioral health facilities within Rhode Island for clients in need of urgent care.
Coordinate with local hospitals, clinics, and emergency services to ensure clients receive timely and effective treatment.
Offer ongoing support and follow-up to ensure clients are stabilizing and receiving the necessary care and assistance.

Mental Health Services Referrals:

Refer clients to appropriate mental health services, including psychotherapy and
psychiatric medication management as needed.
Collaborate with local mental health providers to ensure clients have access to the
necessary treatments.
Follow up with clients regularly to monitor their progress and ensure they are receiving effective and appropriate care.
Maintain accurate records of referrals and treatment outcomes

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of client interactions, progress, and
outcomes in accordance with professional and program standards.
Prepare regular reports and updates as required by the program
Clients will have the flexibility to utilize Revive Therapeutic Services' facilities in Providence, Rhode Island for their behavioral health needs. For those who are unable to visit the office, we provide a HIPAA-compliant telehealth video software solution. This ensures that all clients have access to the vital behavioral health support they need, regardless of their ability to attend in person. By offering this dual approach, we strive to make our services as accessible and effective as possible, accommodating the diverse needs and circumstances of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Experience in the field of behavioral health and direct client care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency in documenting client interactions and progress in accordance with professional and program standards.
Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
