Job Overview
Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Childcare Education Director to lead and support high-quality early childhood education programs. This unique leadership role combines the instructional oversight of a Childcare Director with the instructional leadership and coaching responsibilities of a Curriculum Coach.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, self-starter, and educational leader who is passionate about supporting teachers, improving classroom instruction, ensuring compliance with licensing and quality standards, and creating a positive learning environment for children, families, and staff.
This position works closely with administrators, teachers, families, and leadership teams to promote excellence in curriculum implementation, child development, staff training, and center operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Program Management
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare and educational program.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, SUTQ standards, and company policies.
- Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children and families.
- Manage staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom support.
- Assist with in-house program inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
- Review program data, classroom reports, and center performance metrics to make informed decisions.
Curriculum & Instructional Coaching
- Work collaboratively with teachers to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and educational models.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive coaching and feedback to teaching staff.
- Train and mentor educators across Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age classrooms.
- Support teachers in implementing formative and summative assessments.
- Analyze student learning data, identify trends, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Lead professional development sessions and instructional trainings.
- Ensure curriculum practices align with early learning standards and assessment approaches.
Family & Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with families through effective communication and support.
- Communicate with parents regarding child progress, program updates, and educational goals.
- Foster community partnerships and promote family involvement within the center.
Qualifications
- Experience working in childcare, early childhood education, or educational leadership.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and child development practices.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or training teaching staff preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and implement improvement strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using technology, smartboards, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create presentations and lead professional development trainings.
- Experience with SUTQ standards and licensing compliance preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, Child Development, or related field preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
