Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Full-Time | Auburn, MA
$32.50–$39.00 per hour

At Child Health Associates, we know that exceptional pediatric care starts with exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in Auburn, MA.

This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with families, providing patient education, and using strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering high-quality care to children while creating a positive experience for every family we serve.

Schedule

Full-time, 4-day workweek
Consistent weekly schedule
One evening shift per week until 7:00 PM
One weekday off each week
One weekend shift per month

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care and support to pediatric patients in an outpatient practice
Perform telephone triage and provide clinical guidance to patients and families according to established protocols
Assess patient concerns and communicate effectively with providers regarding care needs and follow-up recommendations
Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered
Assist providers during patient visits and office procedures
Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and health concerns
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
Pediatric, family practice, primary care, or ambulatory care experience preferred
Telephone triage experience preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of patient care
Commitment to compassionate, family-centered healthcare
