Joseph's Lock & Safe Co. is a growing door security and locksmith services company specializing in locksmithing, electronic access control, and door hardware solutions in the residential and commercial fields. We are seeking motivated entry-level and experienced technicians to join our team.
Position Overview
Technicians will install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic security systems. All candidates will receive training on company policies, procedures, and ethics
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and rekey mechanical locks and door hardware
- Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems (keypads, card readers, electric strikes, etc.)
- Perform lockouts, implement master key systems, hardware upgrades, and installations
- Diagnose system issues and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret hardware installation diagrams, wiring diagrams and hardware schedules
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Deliver professional customer service on every job
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
Entry-Level Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic hand and power tool knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check
- Training provided on locksmithing and access control fundamentals
Experienced Technician Qualifications
- 2+ years of locksmith and/or access control experience
- Proficiency with commercial door hardware and locking systems
- Experience with access control systems
- Basic low-voltage wiring and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer communication skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Locksmith certification or trade school training
- Access control or low-voltage certifications
