Full Job Description

Wayland Pediatrics is seeking an experienced behavioral health clinician to join our medical team, part-time, supporting behavioral health, and coordination of care for patients within our medical home.

Candidates should have a proven record of collaboration service delivery, outstanding communication skills(both written and oral), along with the flexiblity and adaptability required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, medical practice. The successful candidate will deliver co-located and intergrated behavioral health services, and serve as a consultant to the care team.

Working within our family-centered medical home, the behavioral health clinician will:

* Provde consultation to primary care providers and clinical staff

* Provide preventative interventions to address the needs of children at risk of developing behavioral health conditions

* Complete initial consultations and scheduling follow-up care, as needed

* Deliver evidence-based interventions to help children and families achieve targeted goals

* Maintain documentation in the practice's EMR

* Assist the primary care team in implementing BH clinical guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education.

* Help advance the practice's intergration efforts through participationg in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Required qualifications:

* Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health field from an accredited graduate program

* License for independent practice in MA ( Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)

* Experience providing assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families

Preferred qualitifications:

* Experience in pediatric primary care or other pediatric medical setting

* Experience with behavioral thearpy, cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief, solution-focused interventions is highly desirable
