About the Role

Channel Key is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own client relationships and end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of accounts. This is a professional services role at its core: you are the operational hub that keeps strategy, creative, advertising, and analytics moving in concert—on time, on scope, and with clear accountability to the client.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication, set the delivery rhythm across workstreams, and take ownership of outcomes—not just tasks. Strong candidates will bring both the organizational discipline to manage complex, multi-functional work and the client instincts to navigate expectations, build trust, and escalate intelligently.

This is a founding role. You will help define what great project management looks like at Channel Key, with the opportunity to grow into a broader leadership position as the practice scales.

What You’ll Be Doing

Client Relationship & Delivery Ownership:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day delivery questions, timelines, and project status.
Own the client experience across your account portfolio—managing expectations proactively, not reactively.
Build trusted working relationships that position Channel Key as a reliable, strategic delivery partner.
Lead recurring client check-ins, delivery reviews, and status communications with clarity and confidence.
Identify and navigate scope changes; escalate risks and tradeoffs to internal and client stakeholders with a clear recommended path forward.

Project Planning & Execution:

Define and scope client requirements; create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and workstreams from kickoff through delivery.
Break work into sequenced tasks with defined owners, deadlines, and dependencies across all functions.
Manage multiple concurrent accounts without losing the thread on any one of them.
Review deliverables for completeness and quality before they reach the client.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business and apply that knowledge to drive better delivery decisions.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Coordinate day-to-day work across Brand Strategy, Advertising, Creative, Operations, and Analytics.
Ensure handoffs between teams are well-timed, clearly communicated, and fully owned.
Proactively surface capacity conflicts, bottlenecks, and dependency risks before they become client-visible problems.
Reinforce clear ownership and accountability across workstreams—without creating process for its own sake.

Operational Rigor:

Maintain a single source of truth for project plans, timelines, and delivery status across your portfolio.
Lead structured execution check-ins focused on progress, blockers, and next steps—not debate.
Standardize reporting, communication cadences, and project health tracking across accounts.
Contribute to building repeatable delivery standards as Channel Key’s project management practice grows.

What You Bring to the Table:

4–7+ years of project or project management experience in an agency, consulting, or professional services environment.
Demonstrated experience owning client relationships and managing end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent accounts.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-workstream projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to simplify complexity for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity; able to bring structure and forward momentum without waiting for it to be handed to you.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar.
Familiarity with eCommerce, retail media, marketplace, or digital marketing workflows strongly preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment—and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
PMP, Agile, or comparable certification is a plus.
