Full Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Administer medication as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to transport individuals as needed
- Must pass a background check

-Drug Free workplace with pre-employment drug screening

-Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for individuals' needs
- Experience or education in social work or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge or experience working with individuals with autism is a plus
