Job Summary

Brick & Porter is looking for dependable, hardworking Line cooks to join our growing kitchen team. We're looking for individuals who take pride in preparing high-quality food, work well in a fast-paced environment, and thrive as part of a team. Whether you're an experienced cook or someone looking to grow in the culinary industry, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

-Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

-Set up and stock workstations before each shifts.

-Maintain a clean, organized , and sanitary work area at all times.

-Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

-Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards.

-Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-the-house staff.

-Assist with prep work, stocking, and cleaning duties as needed .

-Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintailing accuracy and consistency.

-Help minimize food waste and properly rotate inventory (FIFO)

Qualifications

-Previous restaurant or line cook experience perferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

-Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.

-Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

-Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
